The Litigation Practice Group handles a variety of general civil and commercial litigation before U.S. District Courts and the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.  Attorneys in the Litigation Practice Group also devote considerable time to the representation of clients before a variety of administrative agencies, as well as legislative committees, in diverse areas of interest.

The Litigation Practice Group is also well versed in appellate practice before the Puerto Rico Supreme Court and Appellate Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and U.S. District Courts.  In addition, with the assistance of the Corporate and Transactional Practice Group, the Litigation Practice Group has successfully represented clients in every stage of government bids and procurement processes for the development of diverse products and services and the awarding of public contracts.  The Litigation Practice Group works closely with other Firm attorneys in specialized areas such as securities, taxation, and communications, in order to advise clients and provide support at an early stage, thereby avoiding or otherwise preparing for litigation in a cost-effective and results-oriented manner.
