MARTÍN PIRILLO-FAVOT obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico in 1995 and received a Juris Doctor degree from the Inter-American University School of Law in 1999.  He was a law clerk at the Puerto Rico Appellate Court.

 

Mr. Pirillo joined the law firm of Quiñones & Sánchez from 2001 to 2005, concentrating his practice in securities matters.  During that period, Mr. Pirillo participated in numerous securities transactions, including the initial creation of the largest investment company complex in Puerto Rico.

 

From 2005 to 2009, he was appointed as Senior Legal Counsel for several Citigroup entities in Puerto Rico, such as Citibank, CitiFinancial, CitiMortgage, Citi Retail Services, and Citi Assurance Services, among others.

 

He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and is also a Notary Public.

 

Mr. Pirillo concentrates his practice in corporate, consumer lending, banking, corporate finance, real estate, and securities matters.
